Abstract Starting from the unique branch of China’s traditional Jiangnan embroidery, titled embroidered painting, this paper analyzes the height of this phenomenon, expounds its research value of art history, and discusses its influence on today’s Chinese embroidery art. It thinks in parallel with the so-called “loom thinking” of the West, so as to draw out the concept of needle words and consider the works of several artists in the field of fiber art.
